100% Malbec. The vineyard planted in 1999 at the foot of the Andes enjoys a dry climate that is tempered by its altitude (1,100 m). Malbec grapes are king of this unique terroir and the enthusiastic attention given to the estate has produced a pure, reputed Argentine Malbec, Gran Malbec.
Saturated ruby to the rim. Bright, complex aromas of blackberry, minerals, crushed rock, fruitcake and violet. Densely packed and impressively concentrated, with a solid spine of acids and tannins framing the black fruit, violet and bitter chocolate flavors and restraining the wines sweetness. Finishes with suave tannins and lovely violet lift. Nicely balanced and long on personality.
