Training system: 60 year old bush vines, 7000 plants per hectare.
Soil: medium- texture calcareous clay soils.
Production techniques: manual harvesting of wine grapes in boxes. Grape skin maceration with must for 4 weeks. Fermentation naturally arrested. Wine ageing takes place in stainless steel tanks for at least 28/24 months: maturation in bottle for several months.

Alcohol by volume: 16% + 75 g/lt residual sweetness
Tasting Note: deep purple-red, sparkling ruby colour. Graceful aromas of black cherry, blackberry plum, cherry, prune, carob and fig with delicate floral (rose) and herbal notes (thyme, wild mint, quinine), enhance by notes of liquorice and marzipan. Sumptuous, velvety, softly sweet texture supported by elegant tannins and vivid mineral acidity. Long and satisfying finish which echoes the nose perfectly.
